Position Summary

Performs preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoots issues, and carries out repair tasks on our industrial production equipment and building infrastructure to maintain optimal working conditions.

Hours: M-F, 2:00 P.M. - 10:30 P.M.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety and environmental policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on industrial equipment and building infrastructure to prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair production equipment and infrastructure systems.
• Root-Cause Analysis: Conduct analysis on machine failures to implement corrective actions.
• Documentation: Log maintenance activities, including repairs, modifications, and preventative measures.
• Communication: Effectively communicate equipment status, repair progress, and maintenance needs to team members and other departments.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives to enhance process efficiency.
• Collaboration: Build partnerships with internal departments and external vendors.
• Training: Engage in ongoing training programs to develop technical skills and knowledge.
• Teamwork: Work individually or as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently.
• Respond to clean-up of blood-borne pathogens or other potentially infectious materials.

Qualifications

• Broad understanding of industrial maintenance systems and repair.
• Ability to effectively troubleshoot equipment failures and perform necessary repairs independently or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems such as industrial pumps, motors (AC/DC), pneumatic/hydraulic components, gearboxes, bearings, chains/belts, etc.
• Familiarity with electrical control components (e.g., breakers, relays, switches).
• Basic understanding of plumbing systems; PLC-controlled systems preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts/scissor lifts, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Target hourly range is $27.00-$34.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. Shift differential of $3.00 per hour applies. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs.

The compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
