Job summary

CHEP Kilgore, TX is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician on the 2nd shift to maintain and repair plant equipment and support continuous improvement. You will troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, perform preventative maintenance, and document work in the CMMS.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in an industrial, automotive, logistics or similar environment.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to read and use mechanical and electrical schematics for troubleshooting (preferred).
• Ability to use an electrical multi-meter for troubleshooting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures in plant equipment including conveyors and pallet handling machines.
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatics, hydraulics, and electric systems.
• Document and schedule work orders in CMMS accurately and timely.
• Participate in health and safety programs and training.
