Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the second shift (3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.). The role covers troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of plant equipment and electrical and mechanical systems.

Must have 3–5 years in industrial electronics and a strong ability to read blueprints and use tools. Education preferred includes a high school diploma or GED, plus an associate degree in electromechanical or electronic engineering technology and technical

Qualifications

Three to five years of experience in industrial electronics; some maintenance background.
Knowledge of basic electricity; strong verbal/interpersonal skills; basic welding.
Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools and read a blueprint.
Must complete confined space safety training and work at heights with safety gear.

Responsibilities

Install/repair plant lighting, air systems, and other mechanical maintenance work.
Order replacements/parts and manage purchase requisitions.
Maintain inventory records for production equipment.
Diagnose and repair building, structure, or grounds problems.
Perform preventive maintenance on welding equipment, CNC drills, and related machinery.
Troubleshoot electrical repairs on welding equipment; use parts from orders.
