Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility in Janesville, WI. The role is a direct hire with a 2nd shift from 4:00pm to 2:00am, offering a salary range of $52,000 to $72,800 per year.

You will perform preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics, and participate in uptime improvement projects while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5-6 years or more of industrial maintenance experience (pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical).
• Training certifications in a technical field (PLC’s, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical).
• Experience operating, programming, and troubleshooting PLC's.
• Reading blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Execute routine, preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair control and non-control based production equipment.
• Identify root cause and suggest component upgrades for standardization across the facility.
• Manage downtime and coordinate parts, resources, and timelines.
• Maintain organized work areas and document work orders and inventory.
• Support continuous improvement and safety programs.
