Meridian Adhesives Group in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a Maintenance Mechanic/Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems. You will work with motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems, performing preventive and corrective maintenance and maintaining CMMS records.

We offer second shift 3:15 PM–1:45 AM, with $24.00–$26.00 per hour and a $0.75 shift differential, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Diagnose issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Set up and maintain equipment using hand and power tools.
• Adhere to safety protocols and LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, including motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, mixers, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Support production teams with quick response to breakdowns and downtime issues.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install mechanical components as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in CMMS (MaintainX).
• Follow all safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other maintenance and operations staff to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Apply and enforce LOTO procedures during all maintenance activities to ensure safety.
