Job summary

Meridian Adhesives Group is seeking a hardworking general laboran for Fort Wayne, IN. Responsibilities include cleaning parts, changing drums on packaging equipment, and assisting maintenance with daily tasks to prepare production for upcoming jobs.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read/write in English, 18+ years old, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Overtime may be required with start pay at $19 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate basic Math.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs continuously.
• Must be able to work overtime with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Tear down parts to clean and rebuild.
• Recognize and troubleshoot problems among equipment.
• Communicate with machine operators, line leads, and maintenance.
• Organize, clean, and switch change parts as needed.
• Must be willing to work with others.
• Must be flexible due to the varying responsibilities.
• Participate in team meetings, safety programs, training, and other activities.
