Job summary
Crescent Paper Tube Company is seeking a 2nd shift maintenance technician to service and improve our manufacturing and packaging equipment. You will perform electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting on machinery, including paper tube winding lines, while ensuring safe, efficient operation.
Candidates should have 3+ years experience in electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, blue print reading is a plus, and welding is desirable.
Qualifications
- 3+ years electrical/mechanical troubleshooting at component level.
- 3+ years on industrial assembly machines.
- Experience with VOM and troubleshooting PLC I/O levels.
- Blue Print Reading is desirable.
- Intermediate PLC skills; ladder logic; use PLC as troubleshooting tool, minimal programming.
- Welding experience desired.
- Hands-on knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
- Basic machine shop practices: drilling, tapping, threading, fittings.
- Ability to measure in inches and millimeters with common tools.
Responsibilities
- Machining skills on lathes, mills, drill press, grinders.
- Repair, maintain, and improve industrial machinery and packaging equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical controls.
- Operate production equipment and support safety focused teamwork.
