PPG Industries in Barberton, OH is immediately hiring an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for 2nd shift (3:00 pm – 11:00 pm, Mon–Fri) with overtime on business need. Starting pay is $34.80 per hour, plus a $1,000 Sign-On Bonus and a $1,000 Retention Bonus.

Qualifikationen

• Five years of Industrial Maintenance experience, preferably in a chemical facility.
• Certification through a Maintenance Apprenticeship Program or Mechanical Institute is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Repair, modify and install equipment or machinery to maintain and operate the facility.
• Diagnose problems and replace or repair parts for sophisticated equipment building systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on belts, piping, filters, mixers, valves, motors, gear boxes, dies, extruders, feeders, rolls, drive chains, classifiers, mills, and mechanical seals and pumps.
• Work in confined spaces, elevated platforms, ladders, scaffolding and roofs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform proof testing to prevent issues.
