Flowers Foods, Inc. in Bradenton, FL seeks an Industrial Maintenance Apprentice for the 2PM-10:30PM shift.

The program offers hands-on training shadowing skilled technicians, with rotation across bakery areas and emphasis on safety and quality standards. Applicants should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and be enrolled in a Technical/Trade or college program in industrial maintenance or related field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and enrollment in a technical/trade or college program in industrial maintenance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, and general shop practices.
• Assist with assigned preventive maintenance tasks and scheduled maintenance.
• Respond with team to equipment stoppage/mechanical breakdown.
• Assist in identifying mechanical wear and troubleshoot/replace mechanical drive and conveyor components.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Comply with all company policies (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).
• Perform other duties including attendance and scheduling requirements.
• Possess or attain licenses required to work with boilers, refrigeration components and related equipment.
