Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is offering an Industrial Maintenance Apprenticeship designed for hands-on training in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Apprentices shadow skilled technicians, learn maintenance procedures, and rotate through multiple bakery areas to gain broad experience. Participants must be enrolled in a technical/college program in industrial maintenance or related field, with the ability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; enrolled in technical/trade or college program in industrial maintenance or related field.
• Must be enrolled in a technical/trade or college program related to industrial maintenance.
• Ability to climb ladders up to 20 feet, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Respond quickly to equipment stoppage or mechanical breakdown with the team.
• Identify wear and assist in troubleshooting and replacing mechanical drive and conveyor components.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with all safety policies.
