Job summary

Vanguard Resources, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Manager for the 2nd shift at Samsung Semiconductor Campus in Taylor, Texas. This on-site leadership role focuses on building and guiding a dedicated HVAC maintenance team within a state-of-the-art facility.

You’ll drive safety, reliability and PMs, develop technicians, and coordinate with Samsung and Vanguard leadership to ensure strong uptime and continuous improvement at the Taylor campus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in HVAC or facilities leadership/supervisory roles.
• Strong commercial/industrial HVAC experience.
• Proficient in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to supervise and develop technicians.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a live facilities environment.
• Experience using CMMS or maintenance reporting systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to work second shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily second-shift HVAC operations and safety culture.
• Coach and develop HVAC technicians; set expectations.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and priorities.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Provide hands-on guidance for complex issues.
• Maintain equipment reliability and uptime through PMs.
• Document work; use CMMS to track history.
• Collaborate with Samsung and Vanguard leadership on staffing and budgets.
