You will read job tickets, configure equipment per ticket, monitor quality, communicate with teammates, and escalate issues to support. This role requires a high school diploma and hands-on finishing machine experience; safety and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Finishing machine operator experience.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand job tickets.
• Setup machine operation information per ticket.
• Observe and monitor machine operations to determine adjustments.
• Communicate with team to ensure high-quality output with minimal waste.
• Troubleshoot problems and maintain run speed and material usage standards.
• Adhere to client specifications and ensure quality.
• Pass along pertinent information to fellow operators.
• Update management on production activities and equipment performance.
• Open service calls with vendor support when needed.
• Clean up machine and surrounding area after procedures.
• Teach and cross-train fellow helpers.
• Load and unload paper rolls safely.
• Perform maintenance on the Hunkeler system.
• Follow process control and safety rules.
