Job summary

Valor Hospitality is seeking a hotel maintenance engineer to respond to service requests, perform preventive maintenance, and keep kitchen, laundry, boiler, plumbing, pool, HVAC, electrical and guest room equipment in safe, efficient condition. You will patrol the property and complete maintenance logs for the next shift.

Responsibilities include handling emergencies, assisting with parking lot upkeep and events, and maintaining a clean, well‑running hotel environment that ensures guest comfort

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or building maintenance coursework preferred.
• Experience in hotel maintenance or facilities operations a plus.
• Strong communication with management, staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and handle guest requests in a courteous, efficient, safe manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment including kitchen, laundry, boiler, plumbing, pool, HVAC, electrical and guest rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness and general maintenance in engineering spaces and daily operations.
• Make rounds of the property to ensure everything is in working order.
• Complete maintenance requests and log activities for the next shift.
• Respond to emergencies and notify appropriate authorities when needed.
• Assist with parking lot maintenance, sand/snow removal and special events as required.
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned.

Bending - required to perform inspections and repairs frequently throughout shift. Kneeling- required to perform inspections and repairs frequently throughout shift.
