Job summary

AHC Hospitality is seeking a Security Officer for 2nd shift at the Amway Grand Plaza in Grand Rapids, MI. This part-time role supports our hospitality mission by protecting guests, associates, and assets across our hotels, restaurants, and venues.

Responsibilities include patrolling, responding to requests for assistance, enforcing safety policies, and coordinating with the security team to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all guests and colleagues during the 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Fire, Police or Security related experience preferred.
• Must be able to walk and stand for upwards of 8 hours.
• Bicycle patrol experience preferred for warmer months.
• AED/CPR/First Aid training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security operations to support hotel guests and associates.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and security incidents.
• Follow Marriott and AHC Loss Prevention SOPs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the security office and shift area.
• Utilize PMS and Saflok systems for access control and information.
