Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend a job order and bill of materials
• Identify parts and their placement on the product line
• Select appropriate power and hand tools for each operation
• Assemble components using hand or power tools
• Use material gauging and dimensioning information accurately
• Read rulers, tapes, metal squares, and other measuring instruments
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets, or fasteners
• Identify maintenance needs on equipment and tooling
• Use electrical testing equipment as required
• Work at different stations as production needs demand
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area
• Adhere to safety equipment and apparel requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned
