You will conduct preventive maintenance, read manuals, order parts, and comply with OSHA safety rules. The role requires high school diploma or GED, 2–5 years of experience, and strong problem-solving skills; MSHA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training also required.
• 2–5 years' experience troubleshooting and repairing heavy equipment; Caterpillar preferred.
• Experience diagnosing equipment using laptop computers, gauges, and instruments.
• Knowledge of basic tools and welding skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose construction equipment repair needs and perform designated repairs on customer or company machines (Caterpillar equipment).
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair; preventive maintenance.
• Disassemble and assemble machine components to manufacturer specifications with tools provided by Fabick.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders; order parts as needed.
• Load/unload equipment from vehicles; comply with OSHA Safety rules; perform other assigned duties.
