Job summary

MacAllister Machinery Co Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Heavy Equipment Shop Technician to perform mechanical services on new and used heavy equipment in our service shop.

You will test, repair, and rebuild equipment, order parts, write service reports, and ensure safety compliance while maintaining tools and 5S housekeeping. Qualified candidates typically have a high school diploma or equivalent with vocational diesel repair training and 3–5 years of heavy equipment experience, including

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent with vocational diesel repair training.
• 3–5 years of mechanical experience with heavy equipment preferred; knowledge of hydraulics, power train and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety rules and maintain 5S housekeeping in the shop.
• Diagnose and repair equipment in the service shop.
• Complete service time reporting and accurately allocate time to each job.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by meeting deadlines and safety standards.
• Maintain company equipment and tools in good working order.
