Job summary

US Aggregates is seeking an Equipment Operator/Laborer to maintain production, perform equipment maintenance, and ensure safety in the plant operations. The role involves operating front-end loaders, haul trucks, and skid steers, with adherence to safety procedures and documentation requirements.

The position requires reading, writing, basic math, strong attendance, and the ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights and weekends. Training and certifications may be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must maintain regular, dependable attendance.
• Reads, writes, and communicates in English; understands basic math.
• Must follow directions, work as a team, and meet schedules.
• Must be able to operate with safety, PPE, and company policies.
• Willing to complete training and certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (front-end loaders, haul trucks, skid steers, etc.) to keep plant in production.
• Fuel, oil, grease, and perform routine maintenance as required.
• Perform pre-shift and end-of-shift checks; document activity and maintenance logs.
• Follow safety rules, wear PPE, and adhere to railroad and facility procedures.
• Complete required paperwork and training; participate in safety briefings.
