Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
• Dismantles defective machines and installs parts.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts.
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus and components.
• Sets up and operates machine tools to repair parts.
• Operates cutting torch or welding equipment when needed.
• Maintains hatchery trailers and related equipment.
• Operates automation equipment as needed.
