Job summary

Kendall Howard LLC is seeking a Hardware Operator for the 2nd shift in Chisago City, MN. The role focuses on installing clinch fasteners and other hardware into fabrications, using hardware insertion equipment to meet engineering specifications.

The position is full-time with competitive hourly wages ($21.03 to $28.80). Benefits include supplemental insurance, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and paid holidays. Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2am with a $1.50 shift differential may apply.

Qualifications

• No minimum experience or education required.
• Prior experience with hardware insertion equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate hardware presses to install a variety of clinch fasteners into sheet metal components.
• Configure and adjust bowl feeders to optimize feed rates, minimize handling, and maintain consistent insertion cycles.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to confirm fastener type, placement, and orientation.
• Inspect and validate installations to meet dimensional, mechanical, and repeatability requirements, reporting nonconformance to quality and/or supervisors as needed.
• Maintain machine reliability through setup, adjustment, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area, following safety policies without exception.
• Assist with other duties as assigned with fabrication and assembly processes.
