Job summary

CMI Group in North Phoenix is hiring a Night Shift Deburr Technician / Hand Finisher to perform deburring, edge-breaking, and surface finishing on aerospace parts. You will use hand tools and inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications, following blueprints and drawings. Training is provided; experience preferred.

U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required; 40+ hour weeks and safety PPE are standard. Pay level depends on experience, with a night differential.

Qualifications

• Must have basic task execution skills for deburring and finishing.
• Willingness to learn inspection and measurement techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret simple drawings and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform deburring, edge-breaking, and surface finishing on aerospace parts.
• Use hand tools such as files, scrapers, Exacto knives, rotary tools, and small pneumatic tools.
• Inspect parts visually and dimensionally to ensure finish and edge quality meet specs.
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
• Identify and report defects, non-conformities, or tooling issues.
• Handle delicate parts carefully to avoid damage and rework.
• Support team to meet production deadlines and quality goals.
• Adhere to ITAR and other compliance regulations.
