Job summary
CMI Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Deburr Technician / Hand Finisher for aerospace and defense manufacturing. Paid training provided; night shift option with a 20% differential; location at North Phoenix facility.
Responsibilities include deburring, edge-breaking, and surface finishing on machined parts, inspecting visually and dimensionally, following blueprints and drawings, and supporting the team to meet production deadlines while complying with ITAR and safety rules.
Qualifications
- Must be able to read basic blueprints and follow work instructions.
- Strong manual dexterity and close attention to tolerances.
- On-the-job training provided; prior aerospace experience helpful.
Responsibilities
- Perform deburring, edge-breaking, and surface finishing on aerospace machined parts.
- Use hand tools (files, scrapers, Exacto knives, rotary tools, Dremels, pneumatic tools).
- Visually and dimensionally inspect parts to meet specs.
- Follow drawings and work instructions; report defects or issues.
- Handle delicate parts and support team to meet deadlines.
- Adhere to ITAR and safety regulations.
