Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a production supervisor for our Pine Bluff, AR facility. The role oversees all production operations on the 2ND SHIFT, manages production supervisors, schedules, product rotation, CCP verification, and safety oversight.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 3+ years in manufacturing supervision (or 2+ years at Tyson), and knowledge of HACCP and CCP monitoring. Willingness to travel occasionally and participate in audits is expected.

Qualifications

Job Details

Knowledge of fresh meats processing preferred.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to access all areas of the production floor to conduct audits and inspections using fixed ladders, stairs steps, etc. Able to tolerate environmental conditions in the area of responsibility. The temperature in most of the areas range from 28°-45° Fahrenheit. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for all production operations at the facility. This includes managing all production supervisors’ departments, production schedules, product rotation, CCP verification schedules, and overseeing the safety committee. This role includes responsibility to review team members in these roles and develop and improve in any deficient areas.

Travel

Some travel is required as needed.
