VELUX is seeking a Gasket Welding Operative for the 2nd shift at our Greenwood, Indiana facility. You will perform repetitive gasket welding operations for skylight component parts, following production standards and job instructions.

The role emphasizes quality, safety, and adherence to 5S practices, with weekend/overtime flexibility as required. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Production experience preferred.
• Able to perform the essential functions.
• Experience reading blueprints preferred.
• Understanding of metric measurement systems preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Team-oriented with a positive safety and attendance record.
• Compliance with safety rules and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs gasket welding per Job Instructions (JI’s).
• Pulls gasket to proper length/width, cycles machine, ensures good weld.
• Ensures production, quality and safety standards are met.
• Performs 5S cleanup and related maintenance.
• Performs other assignments as directed by local supervision.
