Job summary

Velux in Greenwood, SC is seeking a manufacturing associate to perform repetitive assembly operations on skylight component parts, following production standards and Job Instructions (JI’s). You will work with blueprints, monitor quality, and contribute to a safe work environment.

This is an hourly, full-time role with a 6:00am–4:30pm Monday–Thursday shift, potential overtime and weekend work, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, disability coverage, paid leave, and a

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Production environment experience preferred.
• Ability to perform essential functions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Blueprint reading experience preferred.
• Understanding of metric measurement systems preferred.
• Overtime and weekend work as needed.
• Team-oriented with good quality, safety, attendance and work history.
• Compliance with safety rules and policies is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs work according to Job Instructions (J.I.’s) assigned.
• Ensures production, quality and safety standards are met.
• Performs cleaning and maintaining of 5’s practices.
• Performs other assignments as directed by local supervision.
