Job summary

Carfair Composites in Anniston, AL is seeking a Composite Operator to join our production team, focusing on the fabrication and assembly of composite materials. You will prepare molds, apply resin and fiberglass layers, and perform quality checks to ensure adherence to specifications.

Role requires lifting up to 20 lbs, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and with a team. Training and safety programs are provided in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of grade 12 or equivalent.
• Experience in composite manufacturing is an asset.
• Ability to work with fiberglass, resins and related materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare molds and materials for production processes.
• Use hand lay-up and resin infusion techniques.
• Apply resin and fiberglass layers according to guidelines.
• Conduct quality checks to meet standards and specifications.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with team to optimize production efficiency.
• Document production activities and non-conformances.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to safety.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
