Job summary

Hanline Frozen Foods in Romulus, MI is hiring a 2nd shift Fresh Production Associate to pack and process fresh produce, ensure quality, and maintain a 35-degree climate-controlled environment.

The role requires lifting 40 lb cases, working a fast-paced, team-oriented shift and adhering to USDA, FDA and company regulations. Schedule starts at 2:30 pm and continues until completion, with overtime paid as time-and-a-half.

Qualifications

• Pack and process fresh produce according to USDA, FDA, BRC and Company regulations.
• Be able to packing and stack 40lb cases of frozen beans.
• Be able to lift cases chest height or higher.
• Work at a fast pace, team-oriented environment.
• Work your entire shift.
• Hours of operation are from 2:30 pm to completion.

Responsibilities

• Check product quality to make sure it meets USDA, FSA, BRC, and company regulations.
• Package and process fresh produce according to USDA, FDA, BRC and Company regulations.
• Fast paced, team-oriented work environment.
• Factory/warehouse will be at cooler setting everyday (35 degrees).
• Associates are expected to be here every day they are scheduled be on time and stay for their entire shift.
• Products weigh between 1 oz up to 50 pounds.
• Hours of operation are from 2:30 pm to completion (Weekly schedule to be given out every Friday)
• We do pay time and half for overtime.
