Job summary

Hanline Foods is seeking a Quality Control Technician in Shelby, OH to handle daily product testing, monitoring, and reporting in a fast-paced factory environment.

The QC Tech will ensure products meet USDA, FDA, and internal standards, perform moisture/color/fat/salt/weight and organoleptic tests, verify temperatures and seals, and maintain documentation. Weekend work may be required. Overtime is possible on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Must be able to stand for minimum of 8 hours/day.
• Must be able to work minimum of 40hrs/week.
• Must be able to work weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Check product quality to make sure it meets USDA, FDA, ODA, and company regulations.
• Testing of package and processed products according to USDA, FDA, ODA and Company regulations.
• Moisture, color, fat, salt, weight and organoleptic testing.
• Verification of time and temperatures, packaging seals, packaging code dates.
• Environmental monitoring and cleaning checks.
• Monitoring for GMP compliance.
• Monitoring / testing of ingredients from receiving to shipping.
• Lab equipment start up and checks.
• Utilize the hold system.
• Complete documentation as needed.
• Reporting any damaged equipment.
• Fast paced, team-oriented work environment.
• Factory/warehouse setting.
• Associates are expected to be here every day they are scheduled be on time and stay for their entire shift.
• Other duties as assigned.
