Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a 2nd Shift Freight Handler at our Shepherdsville, KY distribution center. You will safely remove pallets from trailers, break down products for pallet configuration, and separate inbound freight by item code to maintain inventory accuracy.

No experience is required as training is provided. You must be able to work in cold/hot conditions (-25F to 100F), read and communicate in English, and pass a drug test plus background check.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Able to work in extreme temperatures (-25F to 100F).
• Able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove pallets of product from trailers.
• Break down product for correct pallet configuration.
• Separate inbound freight by item code onto pallets.
• Ensure damaged product is accounted for and not received into inventory.
