Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Fourslide Setup Operator in Southington, CT to set up and operate fourslide equipment and manage quality and documentation for produced parts. The role starts with first-shift training then transitions to a second-shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM).

The position emphasizes machine setup, tooling maintenance, daily documentation, safety, and adherence to company policies. Training occurs on first shift for 2–4 weeks before transitioning to the second shift.

• Review, and complete required daily documentation.
• Assure good housekeeping and machine maintenance practices.
• Maintain all safety and employee policies and report any infractions or concerns to management.

Job description

Under the guidance of the Fourslide Team Lead, the Fourslide Setup Operator supports manufacturing processes, by setting up and operating Fourslide equipment. Responsible for all quality and documentation associated with production of parts.

Shift

This position works a 2nd shift schedule of Monday-Friday from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM.

Training Schedule

Training will be conducted on 1st Shift (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM) for approximately 2-4 weeks. Upon successful completion of training, employees will transition to the regular 2nd shift (Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM-12:00 AM).
