Job summary

Roto North America is seeking a Forming and Stamping Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in Chester, CT. This full‑time role focuses on operating stamping presses and forming equipment, with attention to quality and safety.

The candidate will read engineering drawings, monitor production, and perform basic die changes while maintaining logs and ensuring equipment readiness. OT may be required to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings and related documentation.
• Solid understanding of production equipment or the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new machinery.
• Strong analytical abilities and effective problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of applicable OSHA and environmental regulations, with the ability to comply with all requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of forming and stamping machines on 2nd shift.
• Produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools to ensure compliance with specs.
• Maintain logs and records of units produced and any rejected pieces.
• Inspect equipment prior to use and perform basic adjustments and routine maintenance.
• Observe safety requirements and maintain clean, organized work area.
