Engineered Steel Products (ESP) in Sophia, NC is seeking a dedicated Forklift/Forktruck Operator. The role starts in 1st shift for training with a transition to 2nd shift; hours are 6AM–3:30PM, Monday–Friday with frequent Saturday shifts, moving to 3:30PM–1AM later.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift rated 15,500–19,000 lb capacity in rough terrain/outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Promotes safety and compliance with all standards.
• Works with Plant Manager and Shipping Supervisor to ensure smooth workflow.
• Keeps work area and equipment clean and organized.
• Operates equipment following established procedures and guidelines.
• Able to work in all weather conditions; experience in steel fabrication environments is a plus.
