Job summary

JobsRUs.com in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe, accurate loading and unloading in the distribution center. The role requires RF scanning, material handling and operating forklifts on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 2:45pm-11:15pm) with overtime including Saturdays.

Pay is $20.75 per hour. Candidates should be able to obtain forklift certification and meet the duties described, including job safety and GDP practice adherence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to obtain a forklift certification.
• 1 year of experience with material handling equipment (high reach or counter-balance).
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
• Operate MHE and use an RF scanner.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders including scanning bar codes, picking pallets and labeling pallets.
• Process orders using RF technology, focusing on damage prevention.
• Load and off-load inbound and outbound shipments using the WMS.
• Report discrepancies between inventory count and documents.
• Locate and retrieve products and replenish picking locations.
