Job summary

Stratas Foods is seeking a skilled Material Handler/Forklift Operator for 2nd shift with a 1st shift training period of 2–3 weeks. This full-time role involves operating a sit-down forklift, using RF scanners for inventory, and loading/unloading materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Applicants should have 1–2 years of forklift experience, basic computer skills, and familiarity with WMS. Benefits include health coverage, EAP, tuition reimbursement, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years forklift operator experience required.
• Experience using RF scanners in a warehouse.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down forklift to move products and materials.
• Use RF scanners to scan, put away, receive, pick and ship inventory.
• Load/unload trailers, stage materials, and move goods within the warehouse.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report safety issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of movements.
• Follow safety, GMP, and warehouse procedures.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
• Palet building and related warehouse duties.
• Complete required documentation as needed.
