Job summary

Barton Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking experienced Forklift Drivers for 2nd shift (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM), Monday–Friday, in Illinois. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, moving, and stacking products in a warehouse or distribution center.

Qualified candidates will hold a valid forklift operator certification, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and operate RF scanners to track inventory while adhering to OSHA safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator license or certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport inventory.
• Load and unload trucks, stack pallets in bays, and shrink-wrap goods.
• Scan and track goods using RF scanners and complete basic shipping documentation.
• Perform pre-shift safety inspections on equipment and follow OSHA guidelines.
• Rotate stock using FIFO and report product damage or shortages.
