Job summary

Sika Corporation in Ohio is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift to operate a forklift and support material handling across the plant. You will receive inbound materials, store, and move items between departments while maintaining a high standard of safety and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience with at least 6 months operating a forklift.
• Ability to follow safety policies and maintain housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load and unload trucks and transport materials between departments.
• Receive inbound material and transfer to storage locations.
• Count and verify materials against documents, note shortages and damages.
• Maintain inventory accuracy using bar code scanners.
• Participate in the Sika SAFE program and follow safety policies.
• Perform cycle counts and other inventory verification.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
