Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a 2nd shift Material Handler for our Richmond, KY plant. You will operate forklifts and lifting devices, move materials, and ensure accurate inventory while adhering to safety procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to read and follow instructions, and experience with material handling or forklift driving; Hilo driving is preferred. We offer ESOP, competitive benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well enough to follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• One month related experience or training; or equivalent education/experience.
• Material handling experience preferred.
• Hilo driving experience preferred.
• Demonstrates reliability, integrity and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and lifting devices to move pallets, skids, and products.
• Ensure accurate inventory levels and replenish materials as needed.
• Unload, stack and transport materials within the plant following assigned routes.
• Record weights and manage labels and production schedules.
• Maintain safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
• Support plant flow and assist teammates as needed.
