Job summary

TVS SCS NA is seeking a Forklift Driver / Material Handler in Missouri to operate forklift equipment for receiving, storing, and distributing material using RF scanning. This is a full-time position on the second shift (2:30 PM–10:30 PM).

The role requires OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain), at least 2 years forklift experience, and a HS diploma or equivalent. 18+ years old; willingness to work extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience in a busy warehouse.
• OSHA-endorsed forklift certification or ability to obtain it.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Prior warehouse/JIT experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of a warehouse management system are a plus.
• Knowledge of safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate forklift to maneuver racks, containers, pallets, and crates.
• Move, locate, relocate, load, unload and stack material in assigned area.
• Perform routine daily equipment inspections and elevate issues.
• Gather finished orders for movement to outbound shipping area.
• Ensure product is labeled and free of damages, overages and shortages.
• Accurately complete related paperwork.
• Adhere to quality and customer service standards.
• Observe and comply with safety procedures and guidelines.
• Ensure materials loaded are properly stacked and secure.
• Perform housekeeping tasks like sweeping and removing scrap.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Demonstrate technical capacity and teamwork orientation.
• Support decision making and maintain high safety regard.
