Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Forklift Operator in West Chicago, IL (near St. Charles) for the 2nd shift, 2 pm–10 pm, Monday–Friday.

You will perform a mix of product handling, lift truck operation, and materials flow to support production lines and warehouse storage. The role requires safety compliance, stock movement, and accurate documentation; you will assist production, participate in inventory, and ensure finished goods are tagged and stored properly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year forklift experience preferred.
• Regular, predictable attendance required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to interact with managers, employees, vendors and customers.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety, health, quality GMP and company policies.
• Perform safety lift truck inspections and battery checks; report malfunctions.
• Move pallets and finished goods between production lines and warehouse.
• Relieve production line employees during breaks; assist with loading/unloading.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and produced; provide documentation.
• Participate in physical inventory as needed.
