Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Forklift Operator for the West Chicago, IL area on 2nd shift (2 pm - 10 pm, Monday-Friday). The role requires operating a forklift, moving materials, and ensuring accurate inventory and quality control on the production floor.

Qualified candidates will typically have at least 1 year of forklift experience, demonstrate strong attention to safety and communication, and be reliable and punctual.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year forklift experience.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move pallets of finished product to staging areas and trailers.
• Inspect forklift and report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Record materials usage and production quantities accurately.
• Support production lines by supplying materials and removing finished goods.
• Assist in inventory counts and housekeeping to maintain safe work areas.
• Follow safety, GMP and company policies at all times.
