Job summary

WP Rawl in Pelion, SC is seeking a careful Forklift Operator for the Fresh Cut Greens department on 2nd Shift (11:45 PM - 8:00 AM). You will safely move pallets, load and unload materials, and support production lines while maintaining accurate inventory and proper rotation.

Starting pay is $15.50 per hour with a $0.50 increase after 90 days and a $1.00 shift differential; attendance bonus of $100 per week; and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience operating stand-up forklift.
• Able to pass a basic Vision and Math Test.
• Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings.
• Ability to work in a refrigerated/cold environment.
• Clean driving record and valid state driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift to move palletized materials and finished products.
• Move pallets into multi-level racking and trailers.
• Deliver product and materials to production lines as needed.
• Rotate inventory with oldest product first.
• Stack and label boxes on pallets per customer specs.
• Ensure pallets are properly stacked, secured, and wrapped for safe handling and transportation.
• Perform lifting, stacking, and material-handling activities.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations for forklift operation.
• Complete daily maintenance inspection forms for equipment.
• Report malfunctions, damage, or safety concerns to supervision.
• Maintain accurate records and follow operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
