Job summary

Novolex is hiring a Forklift Driver in Greensboro, NC to support high-volume warehouse operations. The role requires forklift experience, adherence to safety standards, and ability to work a 7am–3pm, Monday–Friday shift.

You will operate forklift and related equipment, load/unload trucks, and help manage inventory with RF/MHE tools. Compensation ranges from $17.41 to $23.23 per hour with night shift differential, potential wage increases, and a referral bonus program.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year recent forklift experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year sit-down experience required.
• Must be able to work 12 hour shift.
• Must obtain and maintain valid Pactiv Forklift and Safety Certifications during employment.
• Must have proven experience working in a fast paced Warehouse/Logistics environment.
• Prior use of RF barcode reader and VMU computer systems preferred.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Push-pull attachment operation a plus.
• Basic knowledge of mathematics.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing (English required).
• Must be self-directed and have the ability to work with little supervision.
• Will be required to be certified in Lockout/Tag Out and Forklift Operation upon assignment.

Responsibilities

• Operate all warehouse equipment required to transfer finished goods and other products to the appropriate areas (forklift, clamp truck).
• Load and unload trucks efficiently following department standards.
• Move materials and finished goods in a high-volume production environment.
• Support WMS functions related to inventory and load management (e.g., Pick list, PGI).
• Check accuracy of finished product count, product ID, order destination, and carrier ID before loading; complete paperwork.
• Maintain adherence to safety standards, SWIS, and company policies.
• Keep work area organized, safe, and clean.
• Identify locations of emergency stop buttons and fire extinguishers.
• Complete the forklift checklist including daily inspection; change propane tank as needed.
