Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring a Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift at the Kansas City, KS facility. Starting pay is $24.75 per hour. You will move goods and materials safely using material management systems and operate powered trucks in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements include a minimum of 6 months forklift experience and 6 months of continuous work in the last 3 years. Willingness to work 2nd shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months forklift experience and 6 months of continuous work in the last 3 years.
• Must be willing to work current shift(s), overtime, and weekends if required.

Responsibilities

• LEAN Manufacturing—contribute to continuous improvement by solving line-side problems.
• Scan inventory movement into vehicle mounted units and interpret data output.
• Operate powered trucks following safety guidelines.
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
