Job summary

Andersen Corporation in Bayport is seeking a skilled forklift operator to safely and efficiently sort, ship, receive, and handle materials. You will create bills of lading, verify deliveries, and stage materials for inbound/outbound shipments, while adhering to safety policies.

Responsibilities include cross-training, supporting continuous improvement, and contributing to a zero Waste to Landfill goal. Requires 3+ years forklift experience and ability to operate multiple PIT types.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read invoices, packing slips, emails, and reports.
• 3+ years forklift experience.
• Operate multiple PIT types ( forklift, walkie rider, sit-down tugger).
• Proficient with relevant systems (WMS, MES, BAAN).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely in sorting, shipping, receiving and material handling.
• Create bills of lading and verify deliveries.
• Stage material for inbound/outbound shipping and cross-docked material.
• Assist with training co-workers and cross-training across functions.
