Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Driver for 2nd shift in Forney, Texas. You will operate and care for forklifts, inspect equipment, locate stock, and ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining safe, organized storage and accurate records.

The role requires compliance with safety policies, physical capacity to lift up to 100 pounds, and the ability to work with a team within a fast-paced production environment. Training on site will be provided, with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be qualified to properly operate the forklift.
• Must obtain and maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License.
• Ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Prior work in corrugated industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Complete forklift inspections before shift and for new forklifts.
• Locate stock and deliver to machines safely and on time.
• Maintain neat, safe stock stacks and accurate paperwork.
• Keep records of stock locations and production data.
• Adhere to production schedule and assist Shipping Lead Person as needed.
• Report in a timely manner and follow all safety and housekeeping policies.
