Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Jessup, MD is seeking a forklift operator for Monday–Friday, 3:15PM–11:45PM. Pay is $21.75 per hour.

You will operate electric-powered trucks, load and unload pallets, and move products in a cold- or dry-storage environment following all safety standards. Duties include recording weights and conditions with an RF system, performing daily equipment checks, leading safety inspections, coordinating with truck drivers, and maintaining battery charging and care.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to follow instructions in English.
• Able to lift at least 40 lbs and work in cold or dry storage.
• Flexible hours, including weekends.
• Comfortable with variable noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Position forks and load/unload pallets with lifting devices.
• Record weights, counts, and item condition via RF system.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/checks.
• Lead safety inspections on truck chalking and glad-hand process.
• Communicate with semi-truck drivers to ensure safety.
• Maintain and charge batteries; ensure proper charging station use.
