Job summary

Tyson Foods Zeeland Plant in Zeeland, MI is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift. The role involves safely operating stand-up and/or sit-down forklifts to move materials, load/unload goods, and support warehouse operations with RF scanners and tablets.

Responsibilities include verifying inventory accuracy, performing daily equipment inspections, and upholding safety, quality, and food safety standards. Overtime, weekends, and flexible scheduling may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have 3 months of work experience with the same employer listed on application.
• 3 months of Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up and/or sit-down forklifts to transport materials and finished goods.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products in designated locations.
• Utilize RF scanners and tablets to perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Verify product quantities, locations, and inventory accuracy.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all safety, quality, food safety, and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Sanitize equipment as required.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules as required by business needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
