Job summary

RRD is seeking a forklift operator in the St. Charles, IL area to move finished products for shipping and storage, while supplying the Manufacturing Department with materials and staging items for transit.

You will also help maintain inventory, handle by-products, and perform routine safety inspections as part of daily duties. The position is 2nd shift with a $2.00 shift differential, and RRD offers medical/dental/vision coverage, PTO, a 401(k) with match, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Must know forklift dimensions and load limits.
• Able to navigate narrow aisles and ramps.
• Experience in stacking and organizing in tight spaces.
• Adhere to safety policies and hazardous waste handling as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to move finished product for shipping or storage.
• Supply Manufacturing Department with materials as needed.
• Stage product to be moved or shipped.
• Rack unused supplies and maintain inventory of type, amount and location of items.
• Transport and process manufacturing paper by-products.
• Perform housekeeping duties and routine inspections of hoist.
• May perform battery service duties for electrical leads and battery components.
• May handle LP/Propane changes.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
