Job summary

SBA Group in Mocksville, NC is seeking a forklift operator for our second shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) to support warehouse operations. You will safely operate equipment, load and unload goods, and maintain accurate cargo handling with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role requires 1–2 years of forklift experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to teamwork. A forklift certification is advantageous and a drug/background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Current forklift certification is an advantage.
• 1–2 years of forklift operator experience preferred.
• Must pass drug screening and background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to unload, load, and transport cargo in the warehouse.
• Inspect forklift before shifts and report any issues.
• Coordinate with teammates to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Follow safety rules and evacuation procedures in emergencies.

Today we are looking for a Forklift operator to support warehouse operations by safely operating equipment and handling materials efficiently. (2nd shift 2pm-10pm)

Key Responsibilities

• To carry out production and other cargo transportation by forklift
• Before starting work, check the technical condition of the forklift
• Checks whether other employees involved in the operations are ready for work
• Performs the scheduled tasks of the day: unloading and loading works by hand and truck
• Ensures timely and high-quality work: safely transport, quality checks of cargo, informs manager of any low-quality product.
• Stacks and organizes products according to inventory standards
• Ensures a safe work environment by driving a forklift truck in accordance with road/warehouse traffic rules
• Maintains cleanliness and order in the workplace
• Maintains the forklift truck and performs high-quality technical services
• Maintains positive working relationships and good communication with co-workers and management
• In the event of an emergency, behaves in accordance with approved safety instructions, warning signs, and use of an evacuation plan

We believe you

• Having a current forklift certification/license is an advantage
• The ability to perform functions in a safe manner at all times
• Have at least 1-2 years of experience as forklift operator.
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to pass drug screening and background check
