Job summary

SBA Home North Carolina is seeking a Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations on the 2nd shift (2pm-10pm). The role involves safe material handling, loading/unloading, and keeping inventory organized in a fast-paced, robotic facility.

Responsibilities

• Carry out production and cargo transportation by forklift.
• Check the forklift's technical condition before starting work.
• Ensure coworkers are ready for operations and coordinate with them.
• Unload and load goods by hand and with a truck as scheduled.
• Safely transport cargo and conduct quality checks; inform supervisor of any issues.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the work area; perform forklift maintenance as needed.

Today we are looking for a Forklift operator to support warehouse operations by safely operating equipment and handling materials efficiently. (2nd shift 2pm-10pm)

Key Responsibilities:

• To carry out production and other cargo transportation by forklift.
• Before starting work, check the technical condition of the forklift.
• Checks whether other employees involved in the operations are ready for work.
• Performs the scheduled tasks of the day: unloading and loading works by hand and truck.
• Ensures timely and high-quality work: safely transport, quality checks of cargo, informs manager of any low-quality product.
• Stacks and organizes products according to inventory standards
• Ensures a safe work environment by driving a forklift truck in accordance with road/warehouse traffic rules.
• Maintains cleanliness and order in the workplace.
• Maintains the forklift truck and performs high-quality technical services.
• Maintains positive working relationships and good communication with co-workers and management.
• In the event of an emergency, behaves in accordance with approved safety instructions, warning signs, and use of an evacuation plan.

We believe you:

• Having a current forklift certification/license is an advantage.
• The ability to perform functions in a safe manner at all times.
• Have at least 1-2 years of experience as forklift operator.
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to pass drug screening and background check
